Departmental Groups
Design Groups
Special Interest Groups
Honor Societies
There are many student organizations affiliated with the Robert R. McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science. These groups are listed below in various categories. Each of them put together programs and other events to connect McCormick students with each other and to take advantage of the many resources on campus. They also provide leadership opportunities and chances to network with faculty, staff, and professionals in the field.
To get involved, contact the group directly (e-mail address and web pages are provided where available) or Gwen Murphy, Coordinator of Student Involvement in the Office of Undergraduate Engineering.
All student organizations must now complete a renewal application to continue receiving recognition from McCormick. This was a policy that was developed with support from members of the McCormick Student Advisory Board to help provide documentation on the history of each of our student organizations.
There are two forms: one for design groups and the other for departmental/special interest organizations.

Applications for department/special interest organizations are due May 30, 2008. Applications for design groups are due October 10, 2008.
Each organization only has to complete one form. If you have any questions, please contact Gwen Murphy.
