Senior Associate Dean
Linda Broadbelt serves as senior associate dean to McCormick, advancing practices in faculty hiring, development, promotion and tenure, and retention.
Previously, Dean Broadbelt oversaw McCormick’s graduate programs, including graduate research, academic integrity, and diversity, equity, and inclusion at the graduate level.
Broadbelt’s research and teaching interests are in the areas of multiscale modeling, complex kinetics modeling, environmental catalysis, novel biochemical pathways, and polymerization/depolymerization kinetics. Broadbelt has also served as the chair of the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering.
She has a BS in Chemical Engineering (summa cum laude) from Ohio State University, a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware, and a Business for Scientists and Engineers certificate from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
