MSiA Student and IEMS Undergraduate Student Selected as Finalists

MSiA graduate student Andrew Fox and IEMS undergraduate Tessa Swanson have been selected as finalist in the INFORMS Doing Good with Good OR student paper competition, for their paper Volunteer Engagement in the Age of Analytics: A Case Study with American Red Cross, Greater Chicago Region with IEMS faculty member Karen Smilowitz and Jim McGowan of the American Red Cross, Greater Chicago Region.  Tessa and Andy will present their paper at the 2014 INFORMS annual meeting in San Francisco in November.
