Kavya is a dedicated data enthusiast whose journey into the realm of machine learning and data science was sparked by a childhood fascination with digital moving destination display boards on school buses. This early curiosity evolved into a profound passion for exploration and learning, leading Kavya to pursue a bachelor's degree in computer science and engineering in 2017. After completing her undergraduate studies, Kavya gained practical experience through internships at Moog India Technology Centre in 2018 and completed a Full Stack Data Science course at Jigsaw Academy Bangalore in 2019. These experiences honed her skills in data analysis, machine learning, SQL and programming languages. Joining Analytic Edge Pvt Ltd. as a Data Analytical Consultant in 2019, she excelled in leveraging data-driven insights to drive business growth and innovation across various sectors, including CPG, gaming, automobiles, personal care, and e-commerce. Kavya demonstrated exceptional proficiency in advanced data wrangling tools and exhibited strong leadership skills in leading and mentoring teams to ensure project success. Motivated by a fervent desire for continuous growth and learning, Kavya is now poised to pursue her graduate work in machine learning and data science at Northwestern University. She believes that this program will provide the perfect platform to deepen her technical skills and knowledge, allowing her to emerge as a future leader in the field. Additionally, she is excited about the opportunity to learn advanced statistical methods and different analytical approaches in the classroom, and then instantly apply them to real-world data science projects through the Practicum and Capstone projects. This hands-on approach to learning will not only deepen her technical expertise but also prepare her to tackle real-world challenges in the field of data science with confidence and innovation.
