Wenyang Miao is a passionate data scientist and AI product manager with an interdisciplinary educational background and over a year of robust industry experience. She holds dual bachelor's degrees in Honors Business Administration and Medical Sciences from Ivey Business School, Western University. In her professional journey, Wenyang has made significant contributions to the field of generative AI. As an AI Product Manager at Vivo Global, a world-leading smartphone producer, she spearheaded several high-impact Copilot projects. In this role, she was responsible for defining the product vision, conducting market research, and leading cross-functional teams to deliver generative AI solutions on mobile devices. She optimized the AI portrait function in Vivo's AI agent, significantly enhancing image quality and user experience. Wenyang's expertise extends to data science, demonstrated during her tenure as an LLM data scientist at Baidu. She worked on optimizing large language models (LLM) using Supervised Fine-Tuning (SFT) techniques. Her efforts focused on improving model performance and enhancing the overall user experience. She collaborated closely with engineering and product teams to implement machine learning algorithms and analyze vast datasets, driving significant advancements in Baidu's AI capabilities. Her technical proficiency includes programming languages such as Python, HTML, SQL, and MATLAB. She has a strong command of data analysis tools and techniques, and her skills in project management and UX design have been pivotal in delivering successful AI products.
