Lucy Xu graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a major in Joint Mathematics and Economics and a minor in Accounting. Her undergraduate studies enriched her proficiency in mathematics, economics, and statistics, while her hands-on experience in data mining, modeling, and optimization using Python, SQL, Java, and RStudio sharpened her analytical skills. At PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Lucy applied advanced technological and modeling methods to tackle complex challenges in economics, finance, banking, and marketing. She spearheaded projects that optimized investment strategies and enhanced customer incentive programs on a global scale, contributing to substantial revenue growth and operational efficiency improvements. During her tenure at PwC, Lucy leveraged Python and PostgreSQL to implement data solutions directly impacting business operations. She successfully led initiatives that optimized user engagement strategies, resulting in a significant increase in retention rates and profitability metrics. Transitioning to Monster Energy, Lucy played a pivotal role at the intersection of FinTech and Artificial Intelligence. She orchestrated a high-profile 3-billion-dollar common stock purchase project, demonstrating her strategic acumen and ability to navigate complex financial landscapes. Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Machine Learning and Data Science at Northwestern University, Lucy aims to further enhance her technical expertise and broaden her interdisciplinary knowledge.
