I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science with minors in Business from Ohio State University. Throughout my undergraduate studies, I maintained a perfect Major&Minor GPA of 4.00/4.00 and was on the Dean’s List for six consecutive semesters. My academic journey has been complemented by various certifications, including Machine Learning from Coursera and Data Analyst with Python from Datacamp. My professional experiences span multiple roles, such as a Fin-Tech Business Intern at China Construction Bank, where I evaluated AI voice detector-generators and integrated various technologies to optimize automated loan collection calls. I also served as a Product Risk and Actuarial Intern at Munich Reinsurance Company, automating data processes and performing risk analysis to inform product continuation strategies. Additionally, I worked as a Business Analytics Intern at HP Tech Venture, where I conducted research on start-ups and visualized data for investment decisions. In my research and project work, I have demonstrated proficiency in machine learning and data analysis. I participated in the National Innovation Competition, analyzing car insurance premiums using driving pattern data, and achieved a silver medal on Kaggle for a project predicting student performance in online education games. My skill set includes Python, R, SQL, Tableau, and Excel VBA. After get admitted, I am working on Kaggle projects and enhancing my Python and SQL skills through Datacamp and Coursera. These efforts are helping me to stay at the forefront of data science and machine learning practices. Outside of academics and professional pursuits, I have a passion for adventure and outdoor activities. I enjoy snowboarding, diving, off-road trips, and car racing. These hobbies provide a thrilling escape and drive for continuous learning and exploration. I am excited to join the MLDS family at Northwestern University. I look forward to contributing to the community.
