Biography
Mr. George R. Lytwynyshyn has a diverse base of professional experience in industry, consulting, and construction/remediation. His areas of specialization include corporate environmental management; sustainability program development; environmental investigation, design, and remediation; environmental due diligence; environmental health and safety (EHS) management/operations; strategic planning; and regulatory compliance negotiations. He has conducted and managed multi-disciplined programs ranging from facility siting/design to environmental remediation/landfill design. George is skilled with a broad spectrum of markets and clients, including public and private sector projects, small to large industries, commercial developments, lenders/investors, attorneys, and institutional entities. He works closely with engineers, scientists, attorneys, and regulators to integrate realistic and practical solutions into corporate, site/facility design, operation, and management.
In addition to his professional activities, George is an Adjunct Instructor at Northwestern University where he developed and teaches advanced-level courses in the Economics of Sustainability and Environmental Management in the Masters of Project Management Program. He is also active with the Chemical Industrial Council of Illinois as a long-term member on their Education Committee.
