Biography
Dr. Garcia received his PhD in Architectural Engineering, emphasis in Structures, from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
He is a licensed professional engineer in the state of North Dakota and is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
Prior to teaching at Northwestern, he worked for six years at the University of Mary as one of the founding engineering faculty to design and develop the facilities, curricula, and courses of a new School of Engineering.
