Research Interests
The identification and design of better methods of managing a personal career transition. A focus on the success factors of transitions to a general manager position to develop principles that apply to a wide range of transitions. Looking in depth at the traits of successful transitions and particularly the activities one is engaged in before day one on a new assignment. Understanding the success factors in a lateral or backward career move. Modeling the behaviors and particularly the emotional intelligence of successful transitions for first time CEOs. Identifying the correlation between personal emotional intelligence of a CEO and an organization’s financial performance
