Data Backups

In addition to providing a free, secure cloud-based backup solution, the University also has a contract with Iron Mountain for offsite data protection and storage. In general, there is a pick up and drop off service provided by the vendor. You determine the media retention period (how long it will be stored off-site). The fees incurred are based upon the frequency of the pick up/drop off service and the number of containers that are needed.
