Career Development
As part of the multi-faceted effort to help our students to succeed in the biotechnology industry, the MBP curriculum includes a comprehensive Professional Development course (MBiotech 506). Beyond this course, the MBP hosts a variety of events throughout the year that involve alumni and members of the Industrial Advisory Board, such as the semiannual Research Symposium and annual Biotech Nexus. Further, we receive and disseminate information from our network of 400+ alumni which is beneficial to the students who search for internship and/or full-time industrial positions. We also have well-established relations with a number of biotech companies who often look to recruit MBP students as interns or full-time hires.
