Capstone Design Project Site Visit

Civil Engineering and Electrical Engineering seniors collaborate on a multidisciplinary project in Capstone Design. These students are pictured during a field trip to their site, which is a proposed redevelopment of Goose Island in Chicago into a multi-use district with functional greenspaces and shared water and energy infrastructure.

This year's Capstone Design project builds off the winter quarter course "Design of Sustainable Urban Districts" taught by practicing architects and planners at Perkins+Will.
