Bill Baker Featured on Structural Engineer Magazine Cover

Bill Baker, member of Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering External Advisory Committee member and Adjunct Faculty, was featured on the cover of the October issue of Structural Engineer magazine.  Baker is the Structural Engineering Partner of Skidmore, Owings, & Merrill, LLP (SOM) in Chicago.  In May, Baker delivered the inaugural lecture in the Department's Distinguished Lecture Series.  Baker is widely regarded for his structural innovation.  Among his honors are member of the National Academy of Engineers and ASCE's Opal Award for lifetime achievement in design.
