CE Alumna Mehri Paydar selected to ASCE's 2012 New Faces of Civil Engineering

Civil Engineering alumna Mehri Paydar was named, by the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), 2012 New Faces of Civil Engineering.  Paydar, once a professional ballet dancer, received her BSCE in June 2011.  Since August 2011, Paydar has been employed as a field engineer in the Washington, D.C. office of Mass. Electric Construction Company, where she is working on a project to rehabilitate the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority's Red Line.
