Spotlight on Infrastructure Technology Institute

Dean Schofer, PhD Students Matthew Kotowsky and David Kosnik were highlighted for the work that they have done on bridges in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, the I-65 Bridge connecting Louisville, Kentucky to Indiana and several “L” bridges in Chicagoland.  Through the new technology that ITI has developed, they have been able to determine the structural integrity of bridges and allowed government organizations to plan what bridges they need to repair or replace, without stretching their funding.
