In pursuit of economic stability and opportunities, my family and I immigrated in 1999 from Mexico City to Chicago. I became the first person in my family to gain higher education, graduating from Loyola University Chicago Quinlan School of Business in 2019 with a Bachelor of Business Administration focused on Management, Marketing, and Information Systems.
Since graduating, I served as an AmeriCorps Vista for a year at Lawyers Committee for Better Housing. I then transitioned to my current role as a Development Associate at Cabrini Green Legal Aid. I am excited to begin my post-graduate journey at Northwestern’s McCormick School of Engineering, and I look forward to serving my community with the knowledge I learn and skills I develop in the Master of Science in Information Technology program.
