Undergraduate Study
- Flexible curriculum allows in-depth application of mathematics in areas like engineering, economics, physics, mathematics, or social sciences
- Many students combine their applied-math major with another major that reflects their additional interests
- Opportunities for undergraduate research in a wide area of topics
- Class size in the major courses is 20 to 30 students
Graduate Study
- Approximately 45 PhD and 20 MS graduate students in applied math
