Professor Prem Kumar Presenting Plenary Talk at Photonics 2023

Prem Kumar, professor of electrical and computer engineering at Northwestern Engineering and director of the Center for Photonic Communication and Computing, is presenting the first plenary talk — "Engineering Challenges for the Emerging Quantum Networks" — today at the 2023 Biennial Conference on Photonics in Bengaluru, India.

The conference is organized into 13 tracks across topic areas including optical communication and networks, quantum optics and photonics, non-linear and ultrafast photonics​, nanophotonics​, biophotonics and bioimaging, optical metrology and instrumentation, optofluidics, and optoelectronics.
