The MEM program holds regular information sessions both on-campus and online for the sole purpose of educating candidates with the vital information they will need to pursue a MEM degree.
Online Information Sessions
Held in a webinar-style format, online information sessions offer a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the MEM's distinctive features and curriculum—as well as providing ample time to answer any questions.
The online information session highlights:
- Understand the details of our part- and full-time options
- Learn why the MEM program is the “degree of choice” for engineering professionals seeking to further their careers
- Participate in an online Q&A session with MEM students, alumni, or staff.

Evanston Campus Information Session
The MEM program offers on-campus information sessions, providing prospective students the opportunity to meet with faculty and experience the campus in person.
On-campus information session highlights:
- Get an in-depth understanding of how to become a leading engineering manager
- Enjoy a presentation by the director
- Participate in a Q&A session with current students
- Learn why the MEM program is the “degree of choice” for engineering professionals seeking to further their careers
- Join a class in session – see what it's like to be a student! (optional – immediately follows information session)
Application Fee Waiver
Those who attend an information session can receive a waiver of the normal $50 application fee. Instructions and a waiver code will be provided during the information session.
