Joe graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison with a B.S. in computer science. After graduation, he worked for five years as a software engineer on a variety of backend and frontend systems in finance. He has always had passion for his personal projects, which involve constructing drones of various sizes to operate autonomously.

He is extremely excited to join the MSR program to take his passion for technology into real world scenarios. His primary interests are SLAM, distributed systems, and constructing machines to operate in extreme conditions.
