An graduated from Oberlin College and Conservatory with a Bachelor's in Computer Science. She conducted research for Google’s exploreCSR program, focusing on Socially-Responsible AI in Computational Creativity. During her internship at VinAI, An developed a head gesture recognition tool in the Driver Management System to accurately detect various states of driver distraction and help prevent accidents. Her current interests include swarm robotics, bio-inspired systems, and wearable devices. She is passionate about advancing robotics by bridging the gap between theoretical lab experiments and practical, real-world applications.
