This seminar is intended to review theoretical, conceptual, and analytic issues associated with network perspectives on communicating and organizing.

TOPICS
The course will review scholarship on the science of networks in communication, computer science, economics, engineering, organizational science, life sciences, physical sciences, political science, psychology, and sociology, in order to take an in-depth look at theories, methods, and tools to examine the structure and dynamics of networks.
Course Readings
All readings will be posted on the Perusall app on the Canvas site, available by clicking “Perusall” in the menu on the courses Canvas homepage. The syllabus includes the required readings for the class, which are listed in the order we recommend reading them. Each week we also provide a list of optional readings that are designed to be informative for students with specific interests including Communication, Management Science, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Design. Those optional readings for each week are available in Perusall.”
