The Society of Manufacturing Engineers, headquartered in Dearborn, Michigan, is an international professional society dedicated to serving its members and the manufacturing community through the advancement of professionalism, knowledge, and learning. Founded in 1932, it has nearly 70,000 members in 70 countries.
Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals
The Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals is a not-for-profit organization of business personnel who are interested in leading the evolving Supply Chain Management profession by developing, advancing, and disseminating supply chain knowledge and research.
Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers
The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers was founded in Los Angeles, California, in 1974 by a group of engineers employed by the City of Los Angeles. Their objective was to form a national organization of professional engineers to serve as role models in the Hispanic community. The concept of networking was the key basis for the organization.
National Society of Black Engineers
With more than 10,000 members, the National Society of Black Engineers is the largest student-managed organization in the country. Its mission is to increase the number of culturally responsible black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact the community.
Society of Women Engineers
The Society of Women Engineers mission, which was adopted in 1986, is to stimulate women to achieve full potential in careers as engineers and leaders, expand the image of the engineering profession as a positive force in improving the quality of life, and demonstrate the value of diversity.
National Engineering Honor Society
The National Engineering Honor Society was founded in 1885 to mark in a fitting manner those who have conferred honor upon their alma mater by distinguished scholarship and exemplary character as undergraduates in engineering, or by their attainments as alumni in the field of engineering, and to foster a spirit of liberal culture in engineering colleges.
