ResourcesMental Health Allies Program
The MHA program educates faculty and staff in the McCormick School of Engineering on how to provide assistance to students who are in need of support for mental health challenges, and referral for those in crisis. Faculty and staff are not in a position to counsel students, rather they are educated as concerned listeners who support and guide students more quickly and directly toward appropriate support services. MHA training is offered once a year.
You’ll be able to identify MHAs around Tech and beyond by their lapel pins and office space stickers. We hope students, faculty, and staff will all consider MHAs as a resource within our learning community.
